Logika d.o.o.
LOGIKA d.o.o. was founded in 1991 by Slovenian mathematician Izidor Hafner with the aim of promoting and developing logical thinking in primary school children and high school students.
We publish the magazine Logic and Recreational Mathematics and books of logic and mathematical puzzles, and we prepare materials for competitions in logic and recreational mathematics.

- Izidor Hafnerfounder
Former lecturer of mathematics and computer programming at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, and founder of the competitions in logic and recreational mathematics. Order of Freedom of the Republic of Slovenia (2000), National Education Award (2009), Honorary Member of DMFA since 2014.
- Miha Vučkovičdirector
Graduated in computer science and mathematics at the University of Ljubljana. Software developer at Kobis d.o.o.
- Ana Hafnertechnical editor
Holds a PhD in sociology and a degree in social informatics. Technical editor of the magazine Logic and Recreational Mathematics.
- Jerneja Erjavecjunior researcher
MA in English and Japanese. Works on the Erasmus+ project IPR4SC, on the development of the “IP Monitor”.
- Sara Modicjunior researcher
Analyses IPR databases for the IPR4SC “IP Monitor”; dissemination manager and member of the IPR4SC steering committee.
What we do
- publishing the magazine Logic and Recreational Mathematics (freely available online since the 2013/2014 school year)
- publishing books
- selling the JOVO and Polydron construction kits, promoting Zometool
- learning materials for competitors and pupils: logic, tilings and dissections, spatial reasoning, arithmetic

- Mathema ↗We collaborate closely with Mathema, the Institute for the Popularisation of Mathematics — the House of Polyhedra exhibition, science festivals, Mathema Day.
- Polyhedra workshops ↗With ZOTKS and DMFA Slovenia, the organisers of the competitions in logic and recreational mathematics.
- IP Linked Open Data: Building Bridges ↗Completed project — as a subcontractor of Nord University Business School, supported by the European Patent Office.
